Set at the foot of the Braga Cathedral, in Braga, Portugal, the Three Cusps Chaletnewly rehabbed by Tiago do Vale Architects—serves as a stylish little piece of history, originally built in the style of a alpine chalet by wealthy Brazilians living in 19th-century Portugal. Though the place had been in disrepair for more than 120 years, a modern makeover meant to “clarify the building’s spaces and functions while simultaneously making it fit for today’s way of living,” revamped the Tiffany-blue home into a combination work studio and home.

The first two floors of the sparse white structure contain the kitchen, office nook, and living room—characterized by white walls, sleek black furnishings, and bare wood floors. The third floor loft is a cozy, minimalist dream of a bedroom—accented with some beautiful exposed cathedral ceilings. A glass-sided staircase—narrowest on the top floor—connects the three levels and allows unobstructed sunlight to stream through the home. Gessato Blog has a few more shots of the little home, so please, do have a look.
